WASHINGTON, D.C. – The JCR Companies has acquired the Riverton Commons Shopping Center in Front Royal, VA from Eden’s for $17 million. The 69,496 square-foot shopping center, shadow anchored by Walmart and Lowes, is home to a mix of national, regional, and local tenants such as McAlister’s Deli, AT&T, Anytime Fitness, Great Clips, and Valley Health Urgent Care.
There are two additional land sites on the property. JCR plans to sell these sites along with the three leased pad sites included in the deal. JCR has already begun negotiations with potential buyers for these pad sites.
JCR likes the fundamentals of this region and the easy access and high visibility from being located directly off of I-66. There are several vacant inline spaces that JCR plans to lease and then maintain long-term ownership.
Riverton Commons is the eighth shopping center acquisitions for the JCR Companies since 2012.
