Joseph Reger, founder and principal of the JCR Companies, is responsible for acquisitions and strategic growth of the company. Since the inception of JCR in 2009, Reger has built a portfolio of urban infill retail properties, shopping centers, apartment buildings and mixed use properties, primarily in Washington, DC’s core submarkets, including Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Capitol Hill, Old Town Alexandria and Georgetown.
As Director of Investor Relations for JCR Companies, Doug
Wolford is responsible for deal selection, due diligence, and select relationships with capital providers and investors. In addition, Doug provides strategic input on expansion opportunities and new venture development. Before joining JCR Companies, Doug was Chief Executive Officer of Convergent Wealth Advisors, an $11B AUM national multi-family office and wealth advisor. Previously, he held executive roles at VeriSign, Network Solutions, GE, and DuPont. Doug is a frequently sought commentator on high-net-worth topics by television, radio, and print media, and his many interests include conservation and the outdoors, fine wine, collecting art and antiques, and anything mechanical. He holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65 license.
Drew, Chief Operating Officer at the JCR Companies, is responsible for overseeing leasing and management of the company’s approximately 900,000-square-foot portfolio and is a member of JCR’s acquisition, disposition, and financing teams. Drew has been with JCR since August 2012 and, as part of his tenure, has driven revenue through aggressive leasing strategies, efficient management oversight, sourcing and “bird dogging” new investments, and assisting in the development of talent and corporate strategy. Prior to joining JCR, Drew was engaged in leasing and managing a 450,000-square-foot retail shopping center portfolio in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Drew is proud to be a Certified Property Manager and an Accredited Commercial Manager certified by the Institute of Real Estate Management. A native to Northern Virginia, he is licensed to practice real estate throughout the DC Metro area. Drew holds a degree in real estate finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Eric is a Vice President at JCR Companies. He is responsible for all third-party leasing in addition to conducting acquisition due diligence. Previously, Eric was a senior consultant with Thomson Reuters/Ryan Property Tax, where he focused on commercial tax assessment appeals and portfolio tax forecasting. Eric is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Real Estate Group, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He holds a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University in addition to a B.S. in Finance (minor in Economics) from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
As Chief Financial Officer for JCR Companies, Seth oversees the corporate and property accounting function including investor and lender reporting and analysis, internal controls, tax and audit planning, cash management, lease administration and accounting in connection with acquisitions and dispositions. Seth has over 10 years of corporate and property management accounting experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining JCR, Seth has served in accounting management roles for Transwestern, Tishman Speyer, Blake Real Estate and Atlantic Realty Companies where he has provided a full range of accounting services in both the wholly owned and 3rd party sectors. Seth holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Adminstration with a concentration in Marketing from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA as well as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. Seth is currently a CPA candidate in the state of Maryland.
As Portfolio Accountant for JCR Companies, Kenneth is primarily responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, monthly financial statement preparation along with general support to the Controller. In addition, Kenneth supports the property management, leasing and executive teams with all company deliverables. Kenneth has over 12 years of experience in the commercial property management accounting industry. Prior to joining JCR, Kenneth has held accounting roles with increasing levels of responsibility for First Washington Realty, Douglas Development, Federal Realty and most recently as Accounts Payable Manager at Blake Real Estate.
As a Senior Associate at the JCR Companies, Ari is responsible for leasing and managing JCR’s office portfolio. In addition, he assists JCR’s Directors with retail leasing, property management and investment due diligence. Ari has grown with the JCR Companies, having begun his post-graduate career as an Intern in the summer of 2014 with the leasing team. Ari is a native to Washington, DC and graduated from the College of Charleston in 2014 with a degree in Political Science. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Virginia.
As a senior associate at the JCR Companies, Gregory is responsible for assisting in the property management and leasing of the JCR shopping center portfolio as well as helping in the acquisition due diligence process. Previously, Gregory worked with JCR as an intern where he was a critical part of the leasing team. Gregory is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Gregory is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville with a B.S.B.A in Economics and minors in both Entrepreneurship and Leadership.
